No seriously, I see plenty of Amaterasu art, but I've only seen about two pics with Shiranui in it. And he (she? I've always pictured Ammy to be a girl and Shiranui to be a guy, even though they're technically the same god. XD) has waaaaay cooler markings than Ammy. And creepy white wavy tendril things = INFINITE cool points.

So yeah, about the pic... WARNING!! SPOILERS!! Well... not really but if you want to know absolutely as little as possible about the game before you play it you'd better skip this part.

This takes place on the Day of Darkness, something that occurs only once every hundred years. Shi's on the rainbow bridge that leads to the Ark of Yamato that'll take him to his home on te Celestial Plain. But he must do it quickly, because if the moon completely swallows up the sun he'll lose his powers because he's the sun god and no sun = no sun god.

Yeah... this scene is not really in the game (in the game it's Ammy on the bridge during the DoD.) But Shiranui's such a cool character and I really wanted to try my hand at drawing Okami-style. ^__^
